Good idea as it builds equity towards home ownership while renting.- portion of rent goes towards the down payment. Additionally both sides may be able to avoid real estate agent commission fees. One way is to approach owners with the deal who are selling/renting property themselves without a Realtor. Also an inquiry at an Association may be able to point you in the right direction.
